Ralph Stanley Style Banjo At last, an entire video devoted to the songs of Ralph Stanley. Of course we teach Man of Constant Sorrow (two versions, in D position and G position). Casey Henry teaches Man of Constant Sorrow in D, and Chris Henry joins Murphy at the end of each lesson to play guitar. This intermediate DVD can be used with ease after Beginning Banjo Vol. 1 and 2. The Murphy Method is a way of teaching bluegrass music BY EAR. They use no tablature in our teaching because they believe tablature is a crutch that interferes with learning to play bluegrass.
