Opera Nights for Accordion

Designed to provide the serious accordionist with suitable and effective concert items from the operatic repertoire, this album also provides a cross-section of the development of operatic idiom through the centuries, ranging from the early Venetian opera of Monteverdi, the Baroque period of Purcell and Handel, the classicism og Gluck and Mozart to the "bel canto" of Donizetti and the romantic idiom of Richard Wagner.

Although basically designed for the accordion with the Stradella Fixed Bass system, the first three items are also suitable for performance on the Chromatic Free Bass keyboard.
