Introduction To Bass Guitar Video by Bert Casey is a 60 minute DVD that covers the material in the Bass Guitar Primer Book. It focuses on the beginning player and emphasizes proper technique. It covers a range of styles including alternating bass notes, two beat, eighth notes, shuffles, walking patterns, and common rock & roll riffs. It utilizes many close-ups to show proper hand position and technique. Our unique split screens show both hands in detail and utilizes onscreen tablature for all of the music, with a bouncing ball type pointer showing each note as it is being played. By playing along with a full band to 13 different songs, the student learns the basics of bass playing.
